  • What is being in trance like?

Although some people have false expectations of being unconscious or even sleeping these are based, often, on the stage acts - you know the one's where a member of the audience thinks he or she is a chicken.

In practise many people say that a trance is a bit like daydreaming. You are in full control of your thoughts throughout and can come out of trance at any time you wish.

Think of it as a relaxing experience where you just let your conscious mind wander allowing your subconscious to do the learning.

    How will my golf improve?

Let's be clear from the start. These CDs will not show you how to swing a golf club. That physical side of the game is the arena for you and your golf professional.

Where these techniques, that you will learn sub-consciously, are so powerful for you is in the area of the thinking you do on the course and off. The top sports men and women on the planet focus in specific ways which enable them to reproduce their best and most consistent performances more often. These products are designed to allow you to do the same and therefore find your best game more often, given your current technical proficiency.

Some of the benefits you may experience are:

    • Better handling of your reaction to poor shots and thus enabling you to focus more effectively on the next shot
    • Visualising the shot and the target more clearly allowing your sub-conscious to produce a swing designed to hit the target more easily
    • A more relaxed approach to your game allowing you to make the most of your time on the course and your current ability
    • A better sense of focus and concentration when setting up to and executing the shot
    • Lower scores through the application of better thinking whilst on the golf course and the practise range

How long will it take to see an improvement?

Some people have seen immediate results from their very first listening and some have had to wait for two or three listenings before they start to recognise the changes.

Don't expect the magical change to happen immediately because this will only lead to exceedingly high expectations the first time out. We have had feedback which supports this - explaining that performance in the first game after listening was worse than the previous level before listening and that it was often the second or third listening where they recognised improvements.

Everyone is different however we suggest you play a relaxing, non competitive game, as your first game after the first listening. Leave the competitive games till the second listening and more.

How often do I need to listen to the CDs?

We recommend you follow the full programme initially and then listen to the CD as often as you like afterwards. The initial programme consists of listening to the CD 3 times in the first week and then once a week for the next 13 weeks.

Feedback from users shows that the effects of the CD are cumulative. For instance you may improve by a number of strokes on average this year. When you come to next year the learning is based on a new improved level of performance and your sub-conscious mind will be able to improve again.

    Is this about Course Management?

Course management is traditionally expressed as how to best manouvere a golf ball around the course - more like golf ball management. These CDs will help with this however they are more about the management of yourself in order to best get that ball around the course. If you can manage yourself better and become more consistent with your own physical game then you are better placed to use strategies that you learn in Course Management.

Shocking my mates with an increase in performance they now tell me hypnosis is illegal in golf. Is this true?

Hypnosis is perfectly within the rules of golf. This has been confirmed by the R&A.

"As long as the hypnosis CD is used prior to and not during the round of golf then it is within the rules to use hypnosis."

What difference will The Chemical Edge mean to me?

Give yourself the Chemical Edge. This book explains the theory and methods behind the Deep Impact way of doing things. You will explore how the chemical nervous system works. Did you know that you are a drug addict yet? The human being is driven by cravings for specific drugs that they produce inside themselves and they react to the receipt or loss of those particular drugs in a similar way to the way that a heroine or cocaine addict might react.

So what? How does this affect my performance? This book explains the answers along with many more.

You can marvel at how the things you know you do already are pre-determined by your specific cravings. More importantly, this book will not only help you to see how these chemicals might drive your performance and behaviours in the way that they do, it will also show you how you can harness the way that your mind and body work together in order to change your performances for the better.

Some of the techniques for change that you are shown are used globally by sports psychologists and therapists to enable their clients to make choices for the better. You can use the techniques as they are shown in the book or you can adapt them yourself in order to get really specific to your wants and needs creating a series of transformations in performance on which you set the limits.
